The following illustrations were made for an animated Tamil short film "Murali Oli Petti" (Murali's Lightbox) which follows the story of a young Murali and his heartfelt relationship with his late father. Murali opens up about his loss and grief to his friend as the two bond over this emotional story, which is set in the fictional town of Pattrapakkam, a small village on the outskirts of Chennai.
